You are so pretty!
You provide us with everything.
You draw my attention.

For:Diana

for Nishi:

The snow flurries dance
inside a small glass globe that
we call Ithaca.

My fluffy coat floats
like a sleeping bag with wings,
a hole for each arm.

Neighborhood children
build tiny snowmen, they laugh
at crooked carrot noses.

by Diana

A tiny seed grows
Dasies in the springtime sun
Standing in green grass

Ocean waves come real close
The water hits my hot toes
As I sit in sand

Coral reefs so big
Like a jungle for all fish
Endangered species

I see smoke at the top
Lava shoots out of a hole
Now igneous rock

Carpeting my lawn
Building snowmen with you
What fun, what fun, what fun!
for Samantha

Snow melts on the pond
In the muddy reeds I see
Polliwogs swimming

People wearing coats
Inside our house: Easter
We turned up the heat

Hot toes in beach sand--
Dream of summer and ocean!
My feet warm by the heater

Percy Jackson's mom
he thinks she's really awesome
she makes him blue food

Sun god Apollo
Apollo is the sun god
maybe, I think so

The evil god Set
I really think he's evil
maybe he's not bad
By Cameron

For Cameron

The gods look at me,
I shall have no fear today,
I will never fall.

Darkness below me,
The wind caressing my ears,
Raise my chin up high.

The vivid blue sky,
A canvas to paint with joy,
Endless infinity.
